I know, I know. Ubisoft makes an Assassin's Creed game every year. They need to take a year off, the gameplay never changes, they tend to come loaded with pre-order bonuses, questionable design choices and one of the most sever cases of open world-itis in the video game world. Stab the dude, control the area, open the chest. We've done it. But damn if every time they announce a new game, I unlearn every lesson of the past year and start salivating. Sometimes it works! See Assassin's Creed 4. It doesn't always. But despite all the warning signs, I'm excited about Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.
