Details, details, details.  Gran Turismo 5 has be long in development.  What has taken so long?  Well maybe it was all the little things, like the details.  A batch of screenshots just released show some screens from other parts of the game, like the parts store and photo mode.

Just look at the detail that went to each part displayed in the store.  Not to mention the amount of tweaking you can do in the photo mode.  This is the Gran Turismo I've been waiting for, not that silly prologue thing.  While Turn 10 raised the bar a bit with Forza 2 and 3, Digital Polyphony has not only raised the bar graphically, they tied into a highly detailed bow.
