It helped keep you up for long nights of fighting across the universe in Halo or that raid in WoW that went on for hours. Hell you used to be able to buy it by the case at CompUSA.
Well the future of BAWLS seems to be questionable at the moment. A story at BEVNET reveals that it's current investors are investing money into the brand with hopes that it will find a partner soon to help give the company new life.
In November of last year the investors forced out founders Hoby Buppert and Christina Staalstrom and hired a restructuring firm to streamline the company. With a new partner it's hoped to get things moving again for the brand.
BAWLS has been very much a part of gaming, from the availability at CompUSA and ThinkGeek.com to the yearly appearance at PAX (until PAX moved to the Washington State Convention and Trade Center). Not to mention the occasional computer case mod.
This would explain why I haven't seen it in my local QFC lately.
