Remember Black, the FPS from Criterion Games? CVG is reporting that Black Senior Designer Stuart Black has been hired by Codemasters to head up a new FPS IP.  Joining Black in the new studio will be former Sony Computer Entertainment London Studio Game Director Tom Gillo as Executive Producer and former Blackrock Studios Senior Producer Andrew Wilson as Senior Producer.

VP of Codemasters development Gavin Cheshire stated, "Codemasters' Guildford Studio is key to our overall development strategy and this year has opened further positions across its design, programming and art teams. With Stuart Black directing the vision for our new IP in production, deployment of EGO and key development figures heading up a highly skilled team, our Guildford facility offers great potential for development talent based in the South East who want to join a growing studio and work on original titles."

It's also hinted that this new IP will be to Black, what Perfect Dark was to Goldeneye.
