Shutter Island puts you in the role of U.S. Marshal, Teddy Daniels, who, along with his colleague Chuck Aule, is summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts in 1954 to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from Ashecliffe, the island's fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane. Marshall Daniels must search Shutter Island to try to find the escaped murderess, and as the game progresses you attempt to locate other patients who have disappeared during the hurricane. Players find clues and messages across seven levels and 20 environments, and the game also contains multiple mini-games that allow players to decode clues and unlock secret areas of the institution. |
