The story involves some sort of comet from the planet having passed close to the planet Earth, raining down a strange green dust in its wake. While Earth's scientists deemed the powder as harmless to humans, they failed to notice that tiny plants including mushrooms, cacti, and kudzu gained sentience. In order to survive, the newly conscious plant peoples soon formed into tribes, and war inevitably followed. |
