| DESCRIPTION | : It's official -- Konami and Kojima Productions are hard at work on an online-only version of Metal Gear Solid 4 called Metal Gear Solid Online. Using the same graphics and physics engine as Metal Gear Sold 4, MGSO will focus entirely on online warfare, much as the earlier MGS3: Subsistence. Expect a host of creative game modes, plenty of sneaking, and hiding in cardboard boxes. Metal Gear Online is exclusive to the PS3, just like Metal Gear Solid 4. A "starter pack" will come with Metal Gear Solid 4, and will contain 5 multiplayer maps and several play modes. Players will be able to purchase additional upgrades to add new features, though specific details are scarce. The Metal Gear Online beta was scheduled to go live on April 21st, but was delayed due to technical problems. |
