I saw it with my grandma and we both enjoyed it. A few things though...1. Juggernaut. All of him. Seriously, with the exception of his one line at the end, I thought he was the single most mis-casted characters since the Kingpin in Daredevil. Also, did anyone else notice that at the scene at Jean Grey's house in which he had his helmet off for a brief shot....as well as him not even noting Professor X as his half brother (or whatever he was in the comics). And his grand finale blew. Hard.2. The terribly generic villians the inflate Magneto's army. As I was watching the credits, I took a look at one of the names being Lawnmower Man. Seriously? That, and the fact that I had no idea who half of the 'important' villians were because there were such terrible introductions that it just seemed like to much in too little of a time.3. The whole Iceman/Kitty Pryde/Rogue thing. Self-Explanitory.So yeah, I wonder how long it'll take for all the stars to sign up for X4.

Chris Claremont's cameo at the begining of the movie was when the Lawnmower was rising up, Then Stan Lee's cameo was him with the water house.

XDI had no idea they were reffering to that, I just thought it was one of the villians near the end. :p

And have you guys noticed this wasn't directed by Brian or one of the wrtters wasn't even David Hayter?Even if they didn't follow much of the actual comics, the movie fails just based on the entire scructure they attempted to craft on. First, just the way how the first scene was presented and the way how the actors acted, you can obviously tell that it feels like any other average action scene. (The way how Jack said "Gonna sit there and die" and how the camera cutted off just yurks me). All it took was really that scene for me to NOT care what happens with the rest of the movie. If the movie started off better,

Second, for naming it "The Last Stand", it sure doesn't feel like one. IMO, this movie should of waited untill Brain was finished with "Returns" and maybe after his break from making the film. You see, the true reason why this movie actually failed was because 20th Century Fox was too greedy for this to wait. I don't think Halle's demand for more screen time is really the culpret of this cause. (I'm sure the original filmmakers would of probably

)It may sound funky but I believe this movie could of been a two parter so they could get as much detail fleshed out for the characters and that possible EPIC battle between the "Uncanny" and the Brotherhood. Seriously, the other film would of been dedicated to that...actually just putting Omega Red into the film would have comic book geeks just gawking on seeing it.Thrid, that "mood" that the first film had was completly gone (X2 still had some of it). I mean, that sense of grittyness Logan had is completly gone. Such "sesnes" like that were gone. :(
