The Legend of Drizzt Collectors Edition Book 1 by R.A. Salvatore. It is the first fantasy book and now i can't believe what i have been missing all of these years.

Based on Loserly's recommendation I've been reading the "A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE" series. I'm half way through the 3rd book now, A Storm of Swords. The books are long but they're real page turners. Excellent series thus far.
