Not really...Depends on who you talk to. Acoustic kits are more "real" and are more respected within the drumming world. Anytime I go gig I'll have to answer to "Why the hell are you 100% electronic?" Probably because it's very easy to FAKE it on an electronic kit. (Tell the sequencer to play a pattern, turn off the volume to all the real pads, and air drum...Sounds great and it looks like you're playing!)

Very True. I tell people that I want a to buy a digital kit and people tell me that I do because I can't play worth crap. But, when I tell my drumming buddies that I want to buy one, they give me advice on which is the best to buy :-/
