And it will probably the Asus G73JW-XA1 or A1. Any advice between the two from those with knowledge on gaming PCs? Or any other recommendations?I want something that is going to play all the games on high settings, that is quiet and cool (temperature wise), would like a blu-ray and DVD included, and overachieves in the hardware department so I won't have to upgrade for awhile.Let me know what you think!

Why the XA1 over the A1? Spec wise, it seems like the A1 is better?

I didn't even bother looking up the A1... it doesn't look like the xtras justify the price increase

ERROR - ERROR - ERROR:smt037 Even in desktops those two things are mutually exclusive without exotic cooling solutions.

The thing you have to remember is, Even if you got the most powerful desktop or laptop for gaming, They are not gonna run the newest games 100%It will run older games at 100% however. The hardware for next year will run all the new games that came out this year.

does it have to be a laptop alexsan? just wondering as a desktop would probably be better and cheaper if you build it yourself.I do notice this tho, that laptop has a 2nd gen Core i7...if the mobile versions are anything like the desktop 2nd gen intel chips then its going to fly (i have an i5 2500k now and its stupid fast).
