Looks like pretty good choices to go with. I have the e8400 processor, and it's clocked just under the e8500. It's pretty damn good. You can get a quadcore (q6600) for about the same price as the e8500, or spend a little more to get a higher clocked quadcore.Power supply and RAM look good. I have g.skill RAM, it's a great alternative to other brands.I almost bought that case but I went with a antec p182.

If you wanna spends a little extra, you could go with the new i7. You'd need a new mobo though.

That would be great... except those new motherboards cost over $200 at the moment, and you would need new DDR3 ram (DDR 2 is not supported).

On top of that it's only about 10% better than a core 2 quad right now. There are better ways to gain 10% performance with a core 2 than getting an i7. Wait for the 32nm i7s.

Overclocked especially a Core 2, or Quad Core is more than good enough right now. My 2.4 ghz Q6600 is overclocked and has been stable for the last year at 3.5 ghz. I just bought a new pretty silent fan at Frys and it works perfectly, and is very cool and silent.

I got that case too. It's nice and quiet (relative to most cases it's size). The issues I had, though, were that if your powersupply is longer than usual, it takes up space that can be used for fan, so I had put the fan on the other side and get creative with my hard drive placement.

Looks like a solid build. I've been waiting on an i7 myself, but I'll wait a little more to see the rest of the components (like MBs) mature before becoming an early adopter again.Since you're running 3 way SLI, and just in case you're curious to see what an i7 can promise in that direction, Guru3D did a pretty good writeup doing just that here.
