I started playing this game and am about 15hours in the main quest. But I think I am almost over since the quest to close the final Oblivion gate has started. Am I correct? Is the main mission only 20Hrs long? Also, I hate the autosave in this game: it saved on the last 1.30 Mins of the mission and I had to revert to my last manual save which was four hours before!!!! :(

Twenty hours? That's probably a lot longer than it takes most people to beat the main quest in Oblivion. You have to do everything to get the most out of the game, which could take you 60-100 hours. You can turn autosave off. Just press start and go to the options menu.

Thanks for the clarification man,.Well... I've closed around four or five oblivion gates to have the cities back up Burma (not sure if this will affect the outcome of the final battle)... and done other things besides the main quest. I find it interesting that I bought this game about two years ago and hated it at first. For some reason, I am loving it this time. I think my gaming taste is expanding, which is encouraging... RPGs (Western) are becoming my favorite genre.Next I'll do "The Future" Fable DLC and then probably pick up Fallout 3.

If you like Oblivion, I think you're gonna love Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 is like a streamlined, more shallow Oblivion. but in a lot of ways, its better off for it. And don't take shallow badly, it's just more shallow than fucking OBLIVION. which is kind of like saying the Atlantic is smaller than the Pacific.

If you're a fan of Oblivion and want your computer to catch fire, try Gothic 3. Personally, I liked it a lot more than Oblivion because its epic storyline. Just took a lot of modding for it to work correctly, the graphics are too epic.
