Yup. What Lnin0 said. The armor is bad ass that you pick up on your way through the dungeons. I was happy to get my dog back. I actually missed him after I beat the first main quest. If you have Fable 2 I think the DLC is worth it. The weather effects and the level design (while small) was quite well done.

I just can't see myself downloading this anytime soon. I was a massive Fable fan and to a certain extent I loved Fable 2 but I can't help but feel this game has failed to light that spark within me that glowed brightly with Fable. For those that said Fable failed to live up to expectations I wonder how they now feel about Fable II?

I finished the main quest from the DLC. It is very ho hum. The island is pretty small and the quest boils down to a few dungeon runs and some orb puzzles. Not a good story to back it up and not much exploring outside of the liner crawls. They could have done so much more with the story or giving you a villain or some reason to even give a crap about this place. They do a nice job with the snow, heat and rain that plagues the town. So nice of a job with snow and heat graphics that you will question why similar zones didn't make it into the full game rather than this. Damn, I want a desert level now!The town doesn't have a few stores but no Inn and no new jobs. It has a general cart, weapon+aug, stylist and a grab bag store. There does seem to be a decent amount of new outfits added. The place is also a haven for special potions to loose weight and clean up your skin. You can find a lot just in chest around the island/dungeon and the rest is at vendors and the grab bag store. Basically she has a bunch of gift boxes and requires certain items in trade for each gift. The "hal" riffle cost a potion of infinite wisdom or something like that...most expensive potion in bowerstone. Hal riffle does do some nice damage even though it feels a bit out of place. Overall it did get me playing again and I enjoyed getting back into the game even if the DLC quest itself felt shallow and tacked on. It does offer a decent amount of new toys to play with and at 800pt is isn't the most expensive thing on Live. I still have a good number of quest to complete from the main game so I am glad this DLC got me back into the swing.Oh...and you can get your dog back if you want. I personally am not a fan of 'escort' missions and that dog felt like one big long one so I'll probably put it off for a while and ride solo. I will just have to miss out on some of the buried island treasures.
How about a "spoiler" warning or something.

There really isn't much to spoil - seriously. It isn't like I gave away the ending to "Seven Pounds"

If you are talking about the dog part, I thought it was pretty common knowledge...every game site Ive read stated as much. Besides....I didn't tell you HOW you get him back.As for the rest - it was just a laundry list of the clothes / potion you get with the DLC. No spoiler there - same as if I posted about new outfits in the Shaun White DLC.As for Fable 1 vs Fable 2...I have to say I am also a bigger fan of the first. Two didn't really go anyplace the first didn't. It was a tried and true sequel with prettier graphics, not that that is a bad thing. The story in Fable 2 was supposed to be the big thing Peter and crew went on about and in the end it was so forgettable, had bad pacing and a boring cast of characters. If it were not for the great, although retreaded gameplay, Fable 2 would have been a bust. In fact, the 'new' combat system came close to breaking the gameplay for me. I can understand wanting to reach out to noobs but god damn, was the original Fable even that hard? I stopped leveling my abilities in Fable 2 about mid-way through because the combat was getting so boringly easy. My other gripe with 2 is that if you are making a tried and true sequel and not really trying reinvent the wheel - at least load it down with content. There were hardly enough options for dressing and up pimping out my character. I also question why FISHING was removed. That was hands down the best job/mini game.Oh, and the coop stuff...yeah, that was just crap as well.I still enjoyed that game but it was nowhere near as magical as the first.

Probably the worst single aspect of game as far as I'm concerned.

Well I finished the main storyline. I have to say it was different from what I expected.

While it was different, it felt satisfying enough. I am going to have to go through the game again to see the other endings though. I didn't finish Fable 1, so I don't know how it compares up, but I'll say it compares well with what I did play through.Next stop, Knothole Island....after I clean out the castle first.....(and I loved the butler, very funny).

I liked the story ok. What I like about the Fable series most is the characters. I especiall like interacting with the NPCs as much as possible, and making my character look as awesome as possible. I really like Fable and probably play it as long as they are coming out with games.Edit: OT... but I just read this post tonight and damn I was drunk. So stupid haha.

Eh I don't know if I like this game that much, it feels more limited than the last game to me.
