Pre-Production

About 5 years ago, I was able to finally get my hands on the archives from All Games Network 1998-2000. These tapes have been in a storage locker in upstate New York since Pseudo Programs went bankrupt in 2000.

There are over 700 tapes spanning 15 years of gaming content. There are some tapes still missing, probably in another box inside that storage locker. The locker belongs to Pseudo founder Josh Harris. I sold All Games Network to Pseudo Programs in 1998. Josh’s incredible story was told by 2 x Sundance Grand Prize winner Ondi Timoner in the film “We Live In Public”

One of the great G4 alumni (Thank you Brendan!) lives in New Jersey and I hired him to make the long trip to the locker and ship what he could find via Fedex. 37 boxes and $1300 later I had my history.

The content on these tapes are what led G4 CEO Charles Hirschhorn to court me for a full year before even telling me about his idea for a video game tv network. He was still working on the Disney lot at the time.

Back to the tapes.

However, by this time, I was crafting organic liquid nitrogen ice cream for my new startup NITROPOD. it’s been a little overwhelming to get things organized and digitized. Yesterday I was finally able to sort the tapes by show and year. There are some great E3 moments from various years and I’m going to attempt to put them together for a week of live streams from E3 98, 99, 2000 and more. I’ve also stumbled upon a time capsule of stuff from AGN, G4, and the Arena lounge era of All Games Interactive. I’ll be giving some of these items away during the webcast.

The live show will be a chance to look back at the last 25 years and ahead to the future of gaming for us and our kids. It will be a chance to find out what happened to the hosts, guests, companies and products featured on All Games Network and G4tv.

If you would like to Host/Co-Host/Contribute to the live shows please send an email to live@allgames.com -

Ideally, I’d like to have people comfortable hosting on their own or that have their own channel already. That way, if I can’t make it, we can swap around to other hosts/contributors. If you don’t want to be on air, but would like to contribute to the website or any other way, please reach out as well.

If you’re an expert on Nintendo/PS/XBOX/PC or any specific genre/game and would like to be our go-to person for breaking/new info please specify any areas that you feel confident in covering.

Thank you for stopping by and hopefully we can have some great discussions/debates/laughs about the past, present and future of games.
